Welcome back everyone, as we're well into the second week of the new year. We trust that you all had a safe and restful vacation, hopefully spent with those near and dear to you.
2014 looks equally busy as 2013, as we host next week our annual visit from the Langara College's Library Tech program. Each year, the Langara Lib. Tech students and teaching staff pay RHS a visit as part of their practical study component. And each year we are delighted to host such an engaging group! Our own Ms. McKenzie was also a grad from that program, thus we are happy to return the favor.
Not only do the Langara students see first-hand the workings of a secondary school library, but also they tour the entire school site, during which time they discover how varied and involved our RHS community is! We offer so many different activities and programs, that visitors genuinely leave with an awe-inspiring perspective.
So please welcome our visitors next Thursday, January 23rd, as they spend most of the morning with us.
